Get inspired by our lists built around a theme, and experience Montréal to the hilt.
Walk a little, eat a little (or a lot!) and have tons of fun along the way – that’s what’s on the menu of Local Montréal Tours, unique and informative walking food tours through Montréal’s Mile End and Old Montréal districts.
Expert guides lead you off the beaten path to discover the cultural and culinary richness of trendy, vibrant Montréal neighbourhoods. Armed with loads of interesting tidbits and stories, they’ll show you the ins and outs of the area while you sample authentic Montréal bites, take in the sights, meet up with local artisans and discover Quebecois specialities.
Walking tours last from 2 to 3 hours and cover about 2.3 kilometres (1.4 miles), including a variety of stops: bakeries, brewpubs, butcher shops, vegan eateries…the list goes on and on! Tasting locations vary depending on the tour and private tours are available upon request.
Another great thing about Local Montréal walking tours is that it’s not all about food: above and beyond the cuisine, there’s a cultural aspect that includes architecture, heritage and social diversity. It’s a wonderful opportunity to drink in the surroundings and get a real taste for what Montréal has to offer.
