Massimadi Festival

18th edition

Festivals and events

The Massimadi Festival showcases and supports the artistic projects of Afro LGBTQ+ communities through an annual film and arts festival. The event has provided an inclusive space for a wide range of artistic disciplines while highlighting both emerging and established talent. By fostering visibility and recognition for Afro queer artists in Montréal, it encourages cultural exchange and meaningful connections between communities and the broader arts sector.
