Get inspired by our lists built around a theme, and experience Montréal to the hilt.
Annually in September
For ten days, over thirty restaurants and bars of Greater Montréal display the colours of Martinique.
Québécois chefs and mixologists from all backgrounds offer their original, savoury, and spicy creations inspired by traditional Martinican recipes. A culinary fusion of multiple influences, Martinican cuisine reflects French know-how, African generosity, and delicate perfumes from India, all in Creole sauce.
For this 12th edition, come visit the new Village Creole at Complexe Desjardins, on September 19 and 20. On the program: three chefs from Martinique make you taste culinary specialties; a display of Trois-Rivières and Saint-James rums; artisans; culture stand; dance demonstrations, a competition of dominoes. Free activities open to all!
