“Exchanges: A Showcase of Indigenous Fine Crafts from the Northwest Territories” brings together artists and artisans whose practices reflect the cultural diversity and living traditions of the Northwest Territories. Presented in partnership with Arts of the Northwest Territories, the exhibition highlights techniques such as raised caribou and moose hair tufting, quillwork, hide tanning, beadwork, and sculpture. Works by Alisa Blake, Catherine Blondin, Cheryl Fennell, Cynthia Pavlovich, Sheena Yakeleya, and John Sabourin celebrate knowledge passed through generations and shaped through ongoing cultural exchange.
