Canada Day Montreal

On July 1st, Montrealers celebrate Canada Day in the Old Port of Montreal. People of all ages come together at the Quai de l’Horloge to have fun, share the Canada Day cake and proudly wear the colors of Canada. In the afternoon, Montrealers can attend the salute of honor of the Canadian armed forces and the swearing-in ceremony of new Canadians. The line-up allows everyone to enjoy the party in a warm and friendly gathering: a play area and workshops for everyone, Parks Canada and its fun workshops, makeup for children, free distribution of mini cupcakes, a space for relaxation and musical performances.
