At the centre, Sibelius’s “Violin Concerto” emerges like an inner torrent, where Andrew Wan shapes a solitary, intense lyricism guided by silence and momentum. After the world premiere of a new work by Cassandra Miller, the evening concludes with Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake” Suite, where flowing water gives way to dance, light, and magic.
