Through My Lens: Jeanne Rondeau-Ducharme’s Montréal
Tourisme Montréal
Travel lover Jeanne Rondeau-Ducharme has a calm, quiet, luxurious aesthetic that she applies to all her subjects, particularly her beloved native city, Montréal. Her yen for adventure, exploration, outdoor fun and the quiet, cozy side of life find their counterpart in her endless appetite for culture. We can’t wait to see the beautiful images she produces as she takes over our Instagram account for a day.
When she’s isn’t at Café moustache enjoying a coffee (her favourite spot to refuel since her university days), you might find Jeanne walking the streets of her neighbourhood, Rosemont-Petite-Patrie, laughing over brunch on the terrace of Les fillettes or savouring a slice at Pizza Bouquet. For drinks, Henrietta is her go-to.
Jeanne is an avid explorer, always interested in trying new cool things in her city. One place that’s particularly inspiring to her is Aire Commune – the Mile End open-air workshare and event space is a unique kind of place that screams Montréal, with its interesting array of free programming most days and nights. Jeanne also particularly enjoys MURAL festival, every June, when the city’s walls become the sites for a new crop of high-colour murals to the sounds of live music and celebrations in the street. To rekindle with her quiet side, Jeanne heads to the Botanical Garden.
