The Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth Hotel, the glittery grand dame of René-Levesque Boulevard West, is kicking off an exciting season of new attractions and the return of old favourites. Between works of art, a new café and happy hour at the Nacarat,, this elegant hotel will be the place to be in the coming months. Here’s a look at what you can expect.

The art of downtown

One of the new attractions featured at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth this fall will guide guests along on a tour of the hotel’s magnificent art collection. Reserve your spot and join your tour guide every Sunday morning at 10:30 to visit this unique collection of over 123 works by 40 contemporary artists from right here in Québec and from across the country. The collection is exhibited across 21 floors, mainly in the public spaces of the hotel.

“Cheers” has never sounded so good

As of Thursday, October 21, slip out of that comfy clothes cocoon and get dressed up to the nines for a night out on the town. Nacarat bar on the hotel’s main floor will finally reopen and the good times will pour. Come and enjoy an impeccable cocktail or two in Nacarat’s sophisticated setting while the local DJ’s spin up the ambiance we’ve been craving.

Jazzing up your night out

Rosélys will be buzzing this fall with events peppered through the week and on the weekends to keep us all coming back for more. Music lovers will not want to miss the Marée et Jazz special happy hour events on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as an enchanting jazz trio plays while guests enjoy a plethora of seafood. New brunch and dinner menus concocted by the new chef are bound to delight guests and for the first time, this very busy chef is offering a “late breakfast” on Saturdays.

Haut Caffeine at Café Kréma

The aroma of roasted espresso beans and freshly brewed coffee mixing with the warm flavours of sweet baked goods wafting through the lofty lobby of the hotel will once again draw you in to Café Kréma, inviting you to relax by the fire as the autumn cold sets in. People-watching as you take that first sip, coffee has never tasted so good.

Cabaret Celeste

A brand new creation by Cirque Eloize will be presented at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth on December 16. The Celeste cabaret celebrates the mythical and mysterious world of the stars and plunges spectators into a bewitching atmosphere.
