Montréal has so much going on! So much so that you may not know where to begin exploring. No worries, François Morin, our expert at the Tourist Information Office in Old Montréal, is here to assist you. We asked him to talk a bit about his role and how he can help you plan a great visit to the city. 

My name is François: think of me as your personal advisor who can help you get the most out of your visit to the city, whether you’re here for a few hours or a few days. I am always on the lookout for fun and unique activities and events to help you create memorable moments in Montréal. 

Whether you’re a local or a visitor, you can count on me – I know the city like the back of my hand! 

You can find me at the Tourist Information Office in Old Montréal. I know all the best deals and the latest must-see exhibitions, plus I have great restaurant suggestions to make your mouth water and lots more. I am a veritable gold mine of information to guide you as you discover – or rediscover – our city. Many people think they know Montréal well, but few have the wealth of knowledge and the passion for our city that I do. I’m here to guide you through your visit: from history and architecture to fantastic food and exciting cultural happenings to shopping and great places for breathtaking views, I have lots of tips that will make your visit unforgettable. When it comes to things to see and do in Montréal, I’m your expert!  

 

 

So, come and see me at the corner of Place Jacques-Cartier and Notre-Dame. I can give you tons of ideas for great things to see and do, the best places to eat and drink, along with places to buy public transit tickets and the Passeport MTL city pass.

The Tourist Information Office in Old Montréal is open everyday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until June 15 and from September 1 to October 31.

From 15 June to 31 August, it will be open from 9 am to 7 pm, every day.

From 1 November to 30 April, it will be open from Thursday to Monday, 10 am to 6 pm.
