Mon Shack au Québec, the boutique at 161 Saint-Paul Street East, and La cour des arts du Vieux-Montréal, an adjacent open-air shop, are where local Québec artists and artisans sell their work. Mon Shack au Québec is open all year long, while the Cour des Arts is open from May to October.
Since the end of the 1960s, local artisans have sold their creations, such as jewellery, accessories, gift items, visual art, and decorative utilitarian objects at the Cour des Arts. Dating from 1811, the site is in an outdoor garden consisting of two inner courtyards, sheltered by the branches of majestic maple trees and surrounded by ivy-covered stone walls. The Cour des Arts leads to the Place Jacques Cartier.
