With flavours as warm and friendly as the service, Plein Sud on Mont-Royal Avenue has been serving up Mediterranean sunshine on a plate for over 10 years. With a nod to their Southern French and Corsican roots, this family-run establishment has developed a menu of traditional tapas and plates to share in the south’s casual, convivial style.
Plein Sud invites guests to embark on a culinary journey, one savoury bite at a time. A comprehensive menu of signature dishes the likes of Corsican sautéed veal and braised lamb shank with rosemary is complemented by a host of specials such as homemade ravioli with fresh ricotta and herbs, potato carpaccio with Corsican sausage in a thyme emulsion or Mouclade, mussels enveloped in a cream, curry and Pineau des Charentes sauce.
An abundance of natural light filters through expansive front windows onto an interior of cool brick and warm wood, enhanced by multiple decorative hints of Southern France. A full chalkboard wall details an impressive wine list featuring new private imports each season and the largest selection of Corsican wines in Montréal!
