Canadian Olympic Experience
Experience the thrill of competition at the Canadian Olympic Experience, an interactive museum that honours our country’s athletes. Located inside Canada Olympic House in downtown Montréal, this immersive journey in three distinct zones reveals what it takes to become an elite athlete, what it means to represent Canada on the world stage and the impact of the Games throughout history.
In Zone 1, you discover your own personal athletic profile and try your hand at Olympic sports such as bobsleigh, track and field, fencing, and freestyle skiing. Ski virtual moguls alongside Mikaël Kingsbury or race against Bruny Surin against a backdrop of Olympic history footage.
Zone 2 is informative and engaging, with a multimedia focus on the history of Canada’s participation in the Olympic Games. Featuring a wealth of unforgettable Canadian Olympic moments, here you will learn about the work that goes into producing an Olympic athlete and what they face to get to the podium.
Zone 3 is the most emotional as you enter into the Salle Lausanne alongside athletes entering the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony. A state-of-the-art panoramic display will take your breath away with a barrage of glorious Olympic moments featuring over 200 Canadian athletes. National pride, guaranteed.
