At the Old Port of Montréal ice skating rink, you can glide blithely about with the twinkling lights of Old Montréal on one side and the snowy St. Lawrence River on the other. As the sun sets, the rink becomes absolutely magical, with the panorama of La Grande Roue de Montréal and the illuminated downtown skyline as a backdrop.
When it’s time to give those tired ankles a rest, the Café Bistro, located at La Grande Roue, offers a welcome respite from the wintry air and a hot drink to warm you up. Skate rentals are available on-site, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own.
